Saturday Night Headliner: Casey Chesnutt

Don’t miss Casey Chesnutt—Texas country grit, Red Dirt energy, and a modern edge—closing out Saturday night at Louisiana Railroad Days Festival 2026. A proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran and dedicated dad, Casey is forging his own path with a sound shaped by Texas Red Dirt influences and ‘90s country roots.

Butch Tinker & Friends

DeQuincy native Butch Tinker is a respected Southwest Louisiana singer/songwriter and longtime member of Freddie Pate’s Jamboree—Louisiana’s longest-running live country music show. His songwriting credits include chart-topping releases and cuts recorded by award-winning artists. Backed by an all-star lineup of regional talent (including Grammy-winning connections and Louisiana Music Hall of Fame experience), this group blends country, Cajun, and classic influences into an unforgettable live show.

The Spare Parts Band

The Spare Parts Band (Louisiana) has entertained crowds across Louisiana and the Gulf Coast for years. Expect a high-energy “variety show” set that keeps you guessing—Funk, Classic Rock, Oldies, and Country—built for singing along, dancing, or both.

2026 Louisiana Railroad Days Festival Gerard Delafose & The Zydeco Gators – Saturday Entertainment April 11, 4-5:30 pm Gerard Delafose is a 3rd generation Zydeco Musician.

He is the grandson of the late great John Delafose and the nephew of the legendary Geno Delafose. He has been playing the accordion for over 20 years, as well as washboard and drums. He first picked up the accordion when he was only eight years old. He grew up learning from the best and will surely bring that legendary Zydeco sound that we all grew up loving. Delafose and his band have toured to the east coast as well as overseas to France and Switzerland being the first Zydeco band to play at “The Blues to Bop” festival” in Switzerland. The band mixes their own fresh funky groove with different selections of songs as well as their own, into the music they play. The Zydeco Gators are made up of family and good friends. Delafose released a CD in February 2018 entitled “Can’t Make U Love Me” which everybody loves. The group upholds a high standard of professional ethics, while knowing how to entertain even the toughest of crowds!

HeartAche band

HeartAche

HeartAche is an idea a couple students had to form a band and pursue a passion for music. The band has been playing quality rock music for three years now. Originating from Vinton High, the band very quickly branched out to play many places in Lake Charles, Vinton, and now DeQuincy.

In partnership with the Railroad Days Festival, Night Owl Productions, and Deep South, HeartAche is proud to be able to play the stage from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. Popular covers include songs from Van Halen, Paramore, No Doubt, and more.
