Railroad Festival Thank You
The members of the DeQuincy Federated Service League, sponsors of the Louisiana Railroad Days Festival of DeQuincy, would like to extend a hearty THANK YOU to everyone who celebrated the 40th year of our beloved festival. Your support means everything to us and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Special “THANK YOUS” are offered to Mayor Riley Smith and Mrs. Kim Rainwater without whom the festival would not be possible. We would like to say thank you to the Railroad Museum Board and employees. Thank you to all members of DFSL and business groups that participated in this year’s festival.
We appreciate all of the local business and schools that supported the festival by wearing their railroad festival t-shirts each Friday. Thank you to Brookshire Bros. for selling shirts. Special thanks to the businesses located along Lake Charles Ave. for your patience and cooperation prior to and during the festival.
